Getting wasted?

If I'm reading that right, you're assuming an assassin can reliably kill an immortal demigod-wizard inside a very fortified capital city.  Which, frankly, is a kind of ridiculous assumption.

An immortal demigod-wizard is a ridiculouse assumption. Why not an immortal demigod wizard night elf assasin with snips. And a bunch of beer to make the enemys massive armys drunk.

As long as the assasin costs the same "effort" as the army that is wasting yours... Such a unit that can end the game faster than an army shouldn't be easy to get. And I still see that you want uber fast games. *points the bit of 'make this game so much faster'*

Anyway, I want the possibility of ending my enemies life using an assasin. But for balance reasons, if it were easier to finish the game using assasins than using anything else, it'd end with everybody researching the proper techs for assasins asap and use them to finish the game. But someone who doesn't invest in security and counter espionage deserves some nasty surprises from time to time... like natural death by a knife in the back.

I dont want uber fast games. But it should be a possibility, And the protection against espionage should be cheap.

I'd correct this to "Watch hours of South Park, there's more to getting wasted than the War of Northern Aggression stuff." Plus, there's the Make Love Not Warcraft episode...
