Getting kicked for not enough games played

pissy online hosts

So i have played over 100 demigod matches when the game came out. I've learned the ropes and was pretty good but i took a break from the game while they fixed all the issues. I come back and now they have stat tracking the bad thing is it doesn't have any of my previous games listed so it looks like ive only played like 5 games. So now im trying to join some pick up games and I get kicked because they think im new. And now again I am tempted to quit this game because even though i want to play i cannot get into a game.  sucks.

Sadly there is no patch for People yet.

a.)  Join noob games ... there are plenty of them up.  If not, host a noob game.

b.)  Stats are reset next week with Epoch 3 anyway

btw, your lack of games is a blessing not a curse.  There are more noob - mid games out there than expert.  Most expert players have quit or found a new account to continue playing.

It really is a blessing to have low games played.  The more you play, the harder it is to play.  I haven't played in a while and came back for a couple games.  It took me forever to get into a game because I got booted from all the noob or mid games because of my stats.  When I finally got into a game everyone pissed on me for not being good enough.

This game has a lot of issues but unfortunatly I'd put the players near the top of the list.

Seriously... as in next week (<6 days from now).  Just host your own games and wait it out.

Ye just wait it out, or join noob games.

But to be honest, you sould join noob games anyway. If you only played 100 games you still count as a noob. Just play some and you will feel it. IF you join a mid or high kill game, you will get stomped so hard, you wont to it again ;)

There is a reason why ppl dont want 100games or 150games ppl on their team. 99% of them just suck hard ( compared to the rest of their team). So dont take it personal, this game just needs a lot of training to be competitiv on higher skill lvls.

The dumb thing is, you don't even need to play that many games to be proficient at Demigod.  Its not like HoN or DotA where there are around 50 characters to learn and loads of intracacies in the game.

Demigod games pretty much always involve the same 3 characters (UB, Reg, Ereb) with the same items and favour items with a few variations on builds.

A decent player just starting DG could easily reach the top-tier within 50 games.

Add Oak and take out Reg and you MIGHT be on to something.
