I can't install the update.

On 7, I get an error in impulse saying that DesktopX Pro isn't compatible with my system. I can't install it!!! Help!!
Actually it is installed, but it is showing as available in Impulse. I have reset data, no help.
If it is showing an update try clicking on the 'Install all update' in the upper right hand corner of the update page.
It's not showing as an update. It's showing as if DX wasn't installed already. 
OK, I got it to install DesktopX 4, but it's not pro. Now it tells me there is an update for DX Pro, but the error again.
Yeah, I now see both DX and DX Pro too (and it sets the standard version as installed when updating DX Pro).
I wish there was an hidden registry setting to override the system version check (there is another way, but it's way too complicated).
You could try uninstalling, then hidding the standard version (right-click / More -> Hide application) and then try installing again. But if the system check is still there you won't have any DX version installed anymore until the problem is resolved...
How bout I just ignore the update for now? I don't need to make any gadgets right away.
