Can't Uninstall Previous version

I tried to update DeskScapes to DeskScapes 3. In Impulse it says DeskScapes 3 and under it it says previous version installed. So when I try to install it it prompts to remove the old version and then errors with a messege that says "There is an error in XML Document (0,0)"

There is no verify, there is a Retry, Run, More Info, Uninstall, Vieew history, rating...

The previous version of DeskScapes will still run if I click on RUN but I can NOT uninstall the previous version so I can not Update to DeskScapes 3.

Where is this problematic XML file and is it repairable so I can update?

Have you tried right clicking on it in Impulse and choosing "verify installation" from the menu?

As I posted there is no option to "verify installation" if I right click on the Icon

If I try to update it asks me to uninstall older version or if I just choose Uninstall, it starts and I get:

Error Messege

I have no idea what XML document it is referring to

Click the blue menu button in the upper left and then click 'Preferences'. Click the reset data button. Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info. Try to uninstall then install.

I done what you said and there was an update for Impulse when I restarted and I let it update. It doesn't take but a few moments to load or refresh data. It still gives me the same exact result. The error messege stayed exactly the same.

Ok, so after messing with this for a while and many reboots and such. I fire up Impulse and and in the Updates tab, instead of cancelling the download or retrying the uninstall, I figured I had to get the uninstall done first.  I just clicked resume download and the progam downloaded and installedright over the top of the beta version and now seems to be up to date and verified correctly.

Then I noticed I had two deskscapes folder, a DeskScapes and a DeskScapes 3 folder, I renamed the DeskScapes folder and rebooted, when I ran Impulse after this it was able to uninstall DeskScapes 3(beta) and after yet another reboot was able to install DeskScapes 3 and all seems to be the way it should be.

To me this is just wierd, probably due to beta software but I am ok with that and all seems to be working now.
