Yes, thats right, I finally dipped my toe into actually competitive gameplay. I blew. Hard. and despite not being avle to scroll or zoon (frustrating for sure) i won... due to lag I think. I think I would have won regardless, but it wouldnt have been a vrey pretty game.

I am sure you see that multiplayer is very differernt from single player.
Youll get better the more you play, so even though you did meh, you will get better.
we all started multiplayer at some point.
why could you not zoom or scroll?
I don't know. I just got a new laser mouse and it has been giving me problems in counterstrike too. (lack of horizontal register generally).
I am still not getting zoom or scroll in sins (sp or mp) but I set up side buttons to let me zoom now. It still is a pain.
Yeah, MP was totally different than SP. The pace was all fast, there was a ton of stuff to pay attention to, and i kept getting awful teammates. And IM bad. For more information please see my rant in the "fear of players" thread.
