Hi, I'm back again maybe for the final time, have a prepurchasing question ?

I know I have been here for a couple of years but hardly ever active because I don't think my art style and computer knowledge would fit here and end up pissing someone off.

Anyway I am very highly considering purchasing skinstudio 6 and window blinds 6 with WB7 beta for my new os: windows 7 professional.

If I bought this in about a hour for about 29.99 will I be to limited upgrading window blinds or would I have to use object desktop suite ? I highly prefer not to use object desktop online sevice as I have a very bad experienced with it in 2004 when my step father bought it for me along with paint shop pro 7 for my birthday.

I'm not saying I hate the stardock community, but I hate how the way stardock teams does the purchasing requirements and terms just to use maybe one or two products that I enjoyed dearly and had to stay with the free version of SS and WB for quite awhile.

If you buy Object Desktop you'll get the software you want. It will be upgraded for a year. You don't have to use anything you buy but what you wish to use.

If you call Stardock Sales on Monday, you can talk to a sales person and discuss what you want and if there are any deals...

if you buy windowblinds you can only update it - no sure what it is now but it used to be you would WB updates frees for a year or the next full version which ever was later

 

you can upgrade your WB purchase later to ObjectDesktop at a discount

 

don't know what your bad online experience was but I bought Ojectdeskop on disk and having been updating online since 2003

first using Stardock Central and now using Impulse

ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.
