Can't change cursor appearance

I am using GEAR as cursor appearance, but trying to change it in e.g. vistascape, the cursors do not change.

system: Windows Vista bussiness (6.0 build 6002)

Memory: 3 Gb

Laptop: Acer travelmate 7730

please tell me what to do, or is there a limit to the number of times one can change the cursorappearance.

You should be able to change cursors with either the CFX control panel or by double clicking on one of the themes in PublicDocuments/Stardock/CursorFX/Themes. If not,I suspect a conflict with the pre-installed Acer security apps. They have been known to prevent ObjectDock from working correctly. It may be the same with CFX. Look HERE and HERE for details.

You need to double apply themes for some weird reason. First apply removes the current cursor.
