perhaps somehow assign somebody who  is usually in there to post big news from  #elemental on twitter?    I'm not sure how else you could do it  really.

No, you'd just put "#elemental" in the tweet somewhere if its about Elemental. People can then search for that, effectively. That's how things like the Iran Election and Windows 7 chat happen.

I second this opinion.

Why? When he has news just put in in the forums. Besides the twitter thing is a bit stupid and boring as hell to read.

Twits I think is the correct term.

I just want to point out a couple things.

1. There is an edit button.

2. You can put more than one idea in a post.

3. How does one pick their noise? Do they choose between saying "boing!" and "ka-boom!" every time they tweet or something?

4. Have you actually read the Elemetal twitter updates? They are nothing like your "examples."

5. If you don't like twitter, don't use it. I know, that's a hard concept to grasp, but I think you can do it

For me the point is simple.  Stardock is working on stuff that is far ahead of what we see in Beta/Alpha.  It would be nice to get updates on the overall development so we know there is a light at the end of this tunnel.  Plus it would be good to hear something other than "it's not fun".  I'm ready for "Wow wait till you guys get your hands on this".

Agreed.  It seems the Twittering has, well, twittered out (like the post says), which is sad.  It was fun while it lasted, though!

And I spoke too soon.  There have finally been some recent posts, although not from our dear friend BoogieBac.  I think he's still lost in characature-land, drawing up princesses and such.
