Adding a game to my account?

getting a validation error

Hey all,

 

I bought Elven Legacy today :)

 

Now, this is a new laptop and I didn't have Impulse installed, so I bought it via the Stardock site.  I paid for it via paypal, and got my order confirmation with my order number.  All is well.

 

Then, I download Impulse, log in, my old games are there...groovy.  I click on Register Product.

 

I fill out the serial number field with the order number in my email.  Fill in the other info, submit...

 

I get "The serial number you have entered is not recognisable by Impulse."

 

I bought the game from Stardock, I got a paypal confirmation email, and a stardock confirmation email that gave me my order number....so what now?

I submitted a support ticket, but it's the weekend, so I'm hoping for a faster answer on the forums :)

I should add that I haven't installed the game yet.  I don't have an install link or anything.  I just have this email, that has the order number and my reciept.

 

It's getting to the point that I might just want a refund back and I'll try my luck with Steam.

Has this been resolved for you?  If not, please post your support ticket ID, and I can look into it for you.

I'm having the same problem.  JFN-799239 is my ticket ID.  I'm not loving how there needs to be a separate email sent to you for the serial number.  And how it doesn't actually get sent to me.
