Fences v.1 Issues with Vista (Italian) and Post-It Lite

hi, thank you for Fences !!

I want to report 2 issues with Vista Business SP2 (Italian):

1) in the desktop menu there is a duplicated "view" voice, one in italian ("visualizza") and the new one in english

 

2) i'm using Post-It Lite v.3.1.1.1073 and when i use the "Show Desktop" function, to hide all the windows, the post-it on the desktop hide too !! I need to maximize a window and minimize it by hand to make the post-it reappear on the desktop. (The doubleclick-hide function is off)

Show desktop does not actually hide the items on the desktop.  When you use that function, a new window is put on top of everything on your desktop with no title or menu.  Just your wallpaper. That is why your post-it items are not showing.  THey are hidden under a new window.

I'm sorry, but if I'm understanding the answer, maybe I was expressing myself in the wrong manner, with the term "hide" i was meaning "minimize".

The Fences Quick Hide function is NOT active.

When i have opened windows and i use "show desktop" (NOT the Fences doubleclick function, but the windows command, the icon in the quick start bar) all the windows (not the fences) are minimized, now i can see the desktop with all the items and fences, but without the post-it, if i click again the "show desktop" icon (the windows function, NOT the Fences quick hide), all the windows are restored and even the post-it.

after the "show desktop" command (the windows function, NOT the Fences quick hide) the only way to restore the desktop like it has to be is maximize and minimize a window.

without fences the post-it program works right, if i use "show desktop" all the windows are minimized and i can see icons and post-it.

ps: eventually i'll post images to explain the situation, fences is great, but i need the post-it always visible on the desktop...

i was meaning EXACTLY THIS FUNCTION, i'm sorry for my explanation, but in italian it is called "mostra desktop" so i've translated it "show desktop", i wasn't aware that in english is called "minimize".

 

so, i'll try to explain again the situation :D

when i use "MINIMIZE" (windowkey+M) all the opened windows go down and i can see the desktop with all the icons and fences BUT the Post-its disappear

i can see them on the desktop ONLY if i open again a window and minimize it by the "_" button

ok, case closed, I'm a moron !! :omg:

with winkey+d the post-it disappear even if there is no fences installed... previously i was always using winkey+m... don't know why i've started to click that icon !! LOL !!
