Box or Download version?

Hello, I was thinking about using the survey coupon to pre-order, and I can't make my mind up on whether or not to go with the download or the boxed version.

1) Will there be a beefy manual with the boxed version or will it be an anemic quick start guide like the one in Demigod?

2) I'm sure this hasn't been finalized yet, but will there be any quick reference cards like one received with Master of Magic?

3) If I go direct download, willI have the option to upgrade it to the box if I like the finalized contents?

the box (or at least the  special edition one) is also expected to come with  goodies besides the "beefy manual"

Demigod had a poster and a figurine, for example.   (someday, I will have a Rook play as a rook or golem in a table-top RPG)

 

I've been asking for 3 for a while, but the most I've ever gotten is "perhaps someday, but not right now" and I'm fairly certain its going to bet he same answer when Kryo or somebody official spots this thread.

The price is the same for the download as it is for the Boxed AND Download together. Just do that.

Not when I ordered it, it wasn't. The box version has shipping added on.

 

On another note, it now says "Elemental [Pre-Order] (Download + Std. Ed. Box): $54.30 ". Does that mean there's going to be  a special edition box? And if so, can people who already pre-ordered the box version upgrade?

We generally fill all box orders with CEs until we run out. The change there is just a clarification.
