Demigod download failed...

I'm just installing Demigod to my new PC and I get the message from Impulse 'Downloaded file invalid; MD5s do not match server'

At the moment I'm stuck: this is a large download and I'm at my download limit. Because of my slow connection, it is also a 5 hour download. Is there an easy solution to this?

The only thing I can think of is to pull the files off my old PC

Archive it on the old PC then transfer the archive via USB, DVD or LAN and use it to install the game.

This will not work when moving to different OSes (i.e from Vista 32 to Vista 64) but otherwise is the way to go.

Any idea what the error message means?

I think Frogboy said you can download and archive on one OS an move to another - it also comes with an impulse installer to restore the archives

MD5 errors always mean the same thing. Whatever you downloaded is not what you should have received.  See here for more:

Simply: the downloaded file is corrupt.

Impulse does work best at night.  It doesn't care for the light of the day star.
