convert wigets to gadgets

from *.exe to *.gadget

hi,

I would like to aks if desktopX can canvert an executable widget to an Gadget (*.gadget) for the windows 7 sidebar.

or if there is there maybe any other chance to do that?

I thought DTX would export to vista sidebar gadgets... so shouldn't it export to 7 sidebar gadgets?

Actually, you can import the widget.exe into a blank DesktopX desktop (builder mode, of course). Then you could re export it as a gadget/sidebar gadget, if you have DX Pro. I don't know about a 7 sidebar gadget, I assume they are all the same, but I don't know that for a fact.

Once a widget is imported into a desktop, it becomes an object.

As far as I know, Win7 gadgets are the same as Vista ones.
