I can't log into stardock to get the update..

Impulse?

I have a similiar issue. Impulse at my first 3 attempts would not log in, though now it is. but the DG update will not proceed past 8.8%, it stops there with "unknown error, cannot proceed".

I guess some kind of server issue with the new update.

I'll leave it a while and try again.

Yeah i mean i can't log into impluse. it says there is a problem with my login, to please check my creditials.

I tried retyping my user name and password. But nothing works.

It says i have an invalid stardock.net account. ?!

I know it's obvious but people make mistakes, please make sure that your Caps lock is not on.

Also, something else to try, you can logon with either your email address or your nickname.  Give them both a try and see if one or the other works.

I doubled checked, no cap locks. and i tried my email address. It's a no go...

T-Man...thoughts? Ive' tried the usual tricks..reset data and the like....

There are other posts on the forum about this issue, (Orcun, specifically).

It's a problem with changing your user name, Demigod does not like it. Trying changing it back to NeutralGood and then updating, then changing it back. Hope that helps!

I had this problem too. Another Impulse Stardock pain! What may be happining is it is trying to auto log in using the username and password you had when you first installed DG. I found my impulse said failed to login, yet when I clicked on 'my account' tab I was logged in!

I then changed username and p/w back to what my ORIGINAL one was, quit - loaded demigod, then clicked the 'update now' and it worked!

Right now I am having a different problem, My Demigod says I need new version to play, so I go to do so, and NO updates are showing in my impulse.... gonna stuff around a little and try to find it.

Remember your ORIGINAL username and change it back to that! Then Excellentness will come your way.

I'm excited about this 1.2, I'm sure it will make a lot of people quite happy! Thanks for the insane amouts of hard work I'm sure the devs have spent on this.

... I love this game, but there are just so many issues with it that i dont think i can continue to play it anylonger nor suggest to other people that they play it.

The game it self is SOO much better then HON or etc. But i got to say when it comes to the code and features around it, they got there act together, and GPG + StarDock, simple doesn't (In game chat, recoonect, greater stablity, more players, better connections, less lag, lag only effects the person lagging, trouble updating the game, the list goes on and on)

It pains me to say that as I have over 400 games played.

may be in the future they will fix these issues. In till then, i just got 3 other games, and im going to give those a whirl.

Well, played one epic game with 1.19

3 bugs I noticed...

1. The icon that pops up on the right middle of the screen when someone starts a PM chat keeps popping up for NO REASON! The strange thing is the username showing (the person sending you the message ) is MYSELF! I kept closing the chat window but it kept popping up about every 20 secs. In the lobby, in game lobby, and also in game.

2. Map Scroll JAMMED! So many times before 1.19 I got the view scrolling to the extreme outside off the map. (as if I had put mouse cursor off the screen.) It sometimes takes about a minute of pressing the keypad arrows to get the view to scroll back onto the map. It happened on the game I played today. Also, the mouse cursor was not trapped off the screen. It was perfectly controllable in the middle but scrolling goes wild.

3. Minor pathfinding issue. My TB likes to run into those nice little nooks on the edges of the map. I am sure he is just taking a break as he is tired, but I have to get the whip out and tell him, "Not that way, this way!"

The pathfinding thing is not too bad as I am used to micro moving now and move command around every corner, but when u click on home shop (when I am clear of enemy) and then zoom to view your team around the map, you come back some 20 seconds later to find your dg having a snooze.

Im haing ths same problem with loging in.  It says check credentials and connection.  Its odd, it use to work but now its not.  Also im using the same user name and pass I always have.  Any ideas?.................
