Just want to say thanks for 256k MP3s

I really hope that is how you'll keep them for the release, or if you can't make it an optional download pack. For me, music is more than half the experience. I've got a nice sound system attached to my computer, and I really dislike when games take the time to have a good soundtrack made, but then store it in low quality 96k compressed files or the like.

A high quality soundtrack is an awesome thing, IMO.

After watching the videos of the Beta on YouTube I can say with all certainty that Elemental has a Killer soundtrack. I liked the music a lot. Quite soothing in fact. I'm sure the battle music isn't as soothing as the map music. IF I was still into meditation I would fire up the game and turn my monitor off just to here it while I zoned out.

I like the music a lot as well...Is similar to The Witcher music and I think like the original Medievel Total War

Me too.  One of the things on my "to do list, for the elemental community" is finding a way encode the layer music and do it justice.  (likely just going to be an aac file of the merged tracks) so I can post the music available prior to having to wait for a soundtrack to be released with the Special Edition

Landisaurua, you mean put the 3 mp3 files into one (the BG, FG, and MG?)? Just use audacity :)

It's pretty fun putting all 3 in audacity and listening to what's ingame, then at random points muting one of the tracks :P

Not a big fan of the EWM soundtrack. atleast the one heard in beta
End of heretic613's quote

There's like 2 or 3 songs in the beta, one of them being the main title music >.>
