Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Quick question... is the beta now closed? Or can a buddy of mine still get in if he pre-orders?
Oh, and I've never anticipated a game more than Elemental. Simply can NOT wait.
If he preorders before the beta starts (it will start within this month), then he should be fine.
After the beta starts it will be closed until the next phase of the beta begins. That would be January, I think...

Now that Impulse Phase 4 is released, and since there was confirmation elsewhere that the Beta will be out before the end of Summer (Sept. 22nd), it should be out in the next two weeks! 
Stardock typically keeps betas open for a week after they start, but I don't know if they're doing that with Elemental
Pay day is tomorrow. I am pre-ordering tomorrow. I think I have a good shot at making it under the wire, but I am still crossing my fingers.

I think Stardock is doing this. See here reply 2. So you will have a week extra, if you need to use paypal and the like. 
yeah, now's the time to get in any buddies you want to have early beta access.
On that note, be aware it won't be fun right away. We likely won't see multiplayer for a while.
