Installing Multiplicity on Windows 7 and Vista

I was having a lot of connectivity issues, couldn't get things resolved, etc, just like many of you.  So, I did some searching.

What did I find?  MultiSrv64.exe was not running in my task manager!  So, I checked Services, and the Stardock Multiplicity service was no where to be found.

Here is how I fixed it:

1.  Run Impulse as an Administrator

2.  Uninstall Multiplicity

3.  Reinstall Multplicity

4.  Reset your machine

5.  Enjoy

Voila!  Because Impulse doesn't have admin access, it cannot install a service.  Give it administrator access, and this turns out to be a very simple thing to resolve.  I hope this helps some of you.

Also, make sure your Win7 Machines are in the same Homegroup if you are using multiple Win 7 machines.  I ran into that being an issue also.

I have run Impulse as admin, uninstalled Multiplicity Pro from Impulse, reinstalled it from Impulse, and rebooted. But I the service never gets created. When I installed originally from my version 1.21 installer file (not with Impulse), the service was there. But now it is gone since installing Impulse and upgrading to Multiplicity 1.22. Is there any way to get the 1.22 installer so i can just install it as admin to get this service created? I have Vista 32-bit. I have now tried the method suggested by Kraks twice now with no luck.
