Need to avoid installing impuse client

Need to avoid installing impuse client

Hi there.. I was wondering if anyone could help me.  I'm an independent contractor and I wanted to install object dock on my work laptop just to make my life alittle nicer.  Well I purchased the software, and without warning, I got pelted with demands to install something called impulse client.  I can't install something like that on my work laptop (to be honest, I install too many things as it is).  I tried installing impulse on a VM that I don't really care about but the demands are way too high.. first .NET version 3, then IE version 7 (when I already have the latest version of Firefox and Chrome)..

Seriously, I am livid right now as I write this but I am trying to stay calm.  I will say this calmly.  Deep breath.

How do I download the software I purchased?

I also posted to stardock support but I assume they are closed until Monday and I don't really want to wait until then.

Thank you.

This means that the 'system requirements' everyone so arrogently pointed me too are NOT, in fact, correct. Impulse client is not required for Object Dock.

Impulse is required to update Object Dock, ergo it is required for Object Dock.  We list the minimum requirements for everything having to do with the application, not just some aspects of it.

According to the email I got, the standalone install can be upgraded by emailing StarDock support as required.

No need to e-mail, the links in my reply above are updated with new releases as they are made available.  If you still want to e-mail, by all means, but most likely we'll just send you to those links.
