Partners who abandon you if you die one time suck

I can understand leaving a game if you die 5-10 times before killing the enemy once, but come on, leaving after one death is pretty retarded.

id rather them leave with only 1 death than have them die 10 times then leave.

I believe he's talking about if YOU die, not the teammate.

i.e. if I come into the game and normally play a pretty solid game but mess up once early in this particular match then my teammate says "OMG sly is a newbie!!!" and dcs.

When it happens, yeah it sucks.  There's not much point in posting about it, but yeah it sucks.

depends HOW you die

often you can recognize a total noob since he has 1400 hp, and he run towards enemies with 500 hp total

When someone dies in the first few minutes it gives only a small amount of gold and xp. It is very easy to come back and win if it was a good player who just made a careless mistake.

The thing that scares me the most, are the 5 other deaths that usually follow.

That said I never leave until its over.

Here is my thought on this take it as you will not trying to flame. But if I am in a PUG , and i have an ally that dies BEFORE the first minute of the game (keep in mind the first 30 seconds is shop, and running to a lane) I will quit the game, because that is a very bad sign, now if its 2 or greater into the game i will useally stick around unless he dies a 2nd time before min. 3.

But yes. If a player dies before the first min is up I will instant quit you may think im a noob or whatever for doing this but how hard is it to stay a live for at least 1 min? espically when all the dgs have mostly the same gear and same level.

Yes, yes they do. Gives you no chance to redeem yourself.

Depends on how aggressive you are.  As erebus I'm often chasing people past layers and layers of towers hoping the bite will finish them off and the teleport will get me out before I'm dead.  I still die very rarely despite playing most games on the razor's edge.

The first minute or so is very important for grabbing flags and that initial clash with the enemy.  People fight hard during this time to hold their ground and possibly grab the early kill only to get duped by, say, an unexpected potion or double team and finished off.  Sure, if they were hiding behind their towers they probably wouldn't have died, but sometimes you have to take chances or you'll be slowly ground away.

Yeah and with what sly said, theres a difference between bringing the enemy to near death and dying, and getting killed behind your towers when you only have 1500hp

I like playing with newbs.  The more I help out, the more they learn and play better, and stick around to play more.

Don't nurture new people, the less there will be to play with.

This. Plus, talk to them. I'm mediocre at best right now (albeit I still am stomping other players just because I read the forums), and when I talk to people most of them are pretty good about listening.
