I run an app that changes my desktop background every 30 minutes but since installting Fences it hasn't changed. However, if I open the Desktop Properties dialog lo and behold Windows thinks the correct background is in use! It seems like Fences has somehow cached the background I was using when I installed it.
Can I disable this behaviour?
Did you uninstall fences and check if this problem persisits,
Also it would be nice if you mention what application you are using to change your desktop background.
Uninstalling Fences fixes the issue. The application I use to change the desktop background is called 'Random Wallpaper Changer' and can be downloaded from http://www.rjlsoftware.com/?change_paper
