ICO Lagging, dropping players/games

This seriously has gotta stop.  What's the excuse for this? the 100 peak time players too much load on the 386sx CPU you have hosting ICO?   The frequent game lags/freezes and disconnects are killing the already small playerbase.  Please address this Stardock!

first its Iron Clad not Stardock. Stardock is just the publisher. But you are right there is alot of lagg and dropped games with only 100 people on. it is pretty sad SIns could have such a large online community but small problems slowly widdled it down to the size it is today.

Yeah. Welcome to the typical day of the ICO server. It's kinda like an already hormonal woman that you give estrogen pills to, you never know when "it's time of the month" is gonna be, but you can be damn sure it's gonna come.

The fact is you have little to no control over your connection with the ICO server, however you can take a shot at one thing that seems to have helped me. After every game, log out completely and restart sins. I have no idea why this works, but I do know I haven't been dropping games and haven't been getting disconnects.

I think it may be an issue with the RAM, or possibly how recent the connection was made with ICO. I have no clue, but I just know I made one change, and my problems went away. Kinda. I still drop every once in a while.
