The changes from XP to Vista and now Win 7

With the changes that happened between XP and Vista and now coming with Win 7 I'm sort of interested in hearing about what SD programs folks are planning on using to change thier desktop.

What do I mean, well with XP you could use Object Bar to create a Sidebar, Vista came along with a Sidebar, now it looks like Win 7 looses the Sidebar but you still have the Gadgets to use on the desktop.

So with Win 7 (based on compatibility) what will you use, WBs, DX, IP, OD+, OB, Fences etc.?

I also wonder of those programs that we have now which ones won't make it into the ObjectDesktop 2010?

Hmmm, also wonder if SD with provide us any new stuff to play with in ObjectDesktop 2010?

OD+ is the first thing I put on a clean install. Fences is really nice too, buy I sure miss having RightClick.

And of course WB, IP and LogonStudio Vista are must haves.

Is RighClick bring dropped or just not compatible with Win 7 yet?  I agree, alot of folks would miss having it.

Most likely just incompatible. But I can't imagine that RC is very high on the list of updates.

I sure do! Not being able to use RightClick is the sole reason why I haven't switched to Win7.

RightClick works on Win7. It still has the same 'ol 64 bit issues, though. Zubaz said in another post that he's hoping to address the 64 bit issue as well as some other minor things.

Dunno. Using RC straight out of the box. No changes made.
