Object Desktop Ultimate Licence on 2 PC?

Hello !

First of all, sorry for my bad english, but im from Germany.... ;)

Now my question:

I've got 2 PC. 1 Desktop, and 1 Notebook. Can I install Stardock Object Desktop Ultimate on both? I read a bit in the forum, but I'm not sure, what's fact. I read, install on 2 is ok, when I'm the main user of both pc. What is, when both pc are running? Are there any problems? I will getting no trouble. I hope you all understand me, and can help me.

Thanks !

each app that comes with ObjectDesktop Ultimate has a Eula.txt in it's folder

the one in WindowBlinds folder:

YOU MAY:
1. Install and use one copy of the
SOFTWARE on a single computer.
2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a
second computer only if you are the main user of
this computer (home computer or laptop for
example).
3. Install the SOFTWARE on another computer only
if you change your main workstation. In such a case
you must uninstall the software from the old
computer.
4. Use the SOFTWARE via a network, only if you
have purchased an adequate number of licenses.
The number of users must not exceed the number of
licenses you have purchased.
5. Make a copy of the SOFTWARE for archival
purposes only.

check each one to be sure

They all pretty much follow the same pattern.  2 machines is OK, provided they are not typically in use at the same time (i.e. a work and home PC, or a Desktop and your laptop) and are both yours.

Our activation system isn't completely based on the number of machines you install on, but more so on the number of activations.  We try to be pretty lenient with how it works so that you don't have to worry about reinstalling/moving to another machine/etc.  Although the official number is 2 machines, if all 3 are yours and you're not reinstalling constantly you should be fine.  We're not trying to nickle and dime our customers, just trying to prevent someone from buying one license and handing it out to everyone they know.

I can confirm that Stardock's system works very reasonably.  I do all sorts of beta OS updates, installs, reinstalls, test beds, you name it and I haven't run into any overlapping OD validation errors of any kind.

I didn't do any at school. I joined what was supposed to be a beginners class. They didn't have enough people to run the course, so merged three classes together, with people from beginners right up to one lady who did GCSE and got A*.

The problem I have now is finding a suitable class. I have some basics missing which would make GCSE difficult, but I'm already ahead of 2nd year. For example I can speak past (ge...) and future (werden) tenses which are beyond 2nd year, but then I struggle at times with die, der and das because of my limited early learning.

I know... while I'm sitting here typing this I could be learning instead. But I'm too lazy... ;)

BTW your English is excellent.

There are several factors that come in to play with activation.  IP addresses also included.
