Dreams not allowed???

I decided to start running Dreams again (Vista Ultimate user) and now I'm getting nag screens to BUY Deskscapes, which I shouldn't have to. When I close the screen, it should run the Dream anyway....nope....it just sits there. What is going on here???  I'm also getting Deskscape error messages "Dream not allowed". WHAT??? Could someone throw me a clue here why suddenly now Dreamscapes is so whacked out??

If you are using Vista Ultimate, then you need to make sure you are using the older version.

DeskScapes 1.02

The updated versions are time-limited trials.  :)

That's what I thought I HAD... perhaps not. I'll try to uninstall everything and start over.

Just remember to re-start your system after uninstalling deskscapes, then re-install Deskscapes 1.02

It should work fine !! I have been using the same version on my Vista Ultimate for a year now and no such problems.

It sounds like you may have installed a trial version at one point and it is not uninstalling completely. Try the following...

Uninstall deskscapes.
After uninstalling deskscapes, manually delete the "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Deskscapes" directory and the "C:\Program Files\stardock\object desktop\deskscapes" directory if the uninstall process didn't delete them.
Reboot.
Install Deskscapes 1.02
Reboot.
It should work at this point
