Just Wondering...

Hi all, I've been a very big fan of gas powered games since their release of supcom, and have been looking forward to demigod for quite sometime now, but I'm not sure I really want to make an investment to the game yet due to some of the players attitudes I have noticed. I realize that this demigod has no tutorial and I was just curious of how big the learning curve is to this game? Will I have trouble in multiplayer because it takes me a longer time to pick up things than others? All replies are welcome

Hi Fergle, welcome to the forums.

First question is have you played DOTA. If you have, you will have no issues with Demigod.

If not, worry not. The game has no tutorials, but if you just play the single player pantheon on normal, you will get the gist of it.

As stated above, try playing the single player pantheon a few times. After that, look for matches titled noobs only. I am thinking that at some time in the future, I will try to host games for new players only to teach them a few valuable skills and answer any questions that they might have. Anyways, fire away with questions here, and welcome to demigod!

Welcome to DG. If you want, you can add me onto your friends' list and if I happen to be online, drop me a line and I can play a few games with you (even against Bots) or give you tips or whatever. I try to be farily newb-friendly :3 Though I'm by no-means an incredible player.

For a lot of the general gameplay tips, read around on the forums. Tons of information is here and it'll help you tremendously.

But, for now, play single player against normal or easy bots for a few games,  try different people. The first game I was like WHAT DO I DOOOOO as well, I think it's a pretty common reaction ;)

The game is really easy to learm even without a tutorial, just play the singleplayer tournament a couple of times before you start playing online.
