2v1 is not fun

Is it a bug that I am constantly getting into 2v1 games through skirmish or pantheon?  Its bad enough to have an AI as a partner, but its much worse to have no partner at all.  And its not all that fun from the 2 person side either.  50% of the automatched games I've played have been 2v1.  Is this supposed to happen?

No it's not and unfortunately you are not alone with such problems. Thanks to developers.

The 2v1 games should not count.  If you have an AI as a partner no favor points should be awarded or if its just 2v1.   I dont even know why they have a rating system at this point.  This happens about 50% of the time for me.  This morning it has happened on every game ive played in pantheon.

It's a bug, not your fault. The developers hate you and want you to quit and uninstall.

Well, I'm glad that you inherently enjoy playing losing games that are determined from the beginning Juarez.  You should be very happy.

Glad to know that its a bug.  Oh well, hopefully they'll get to it soon.

I played a 2v1 (I was the one) the other day as well. I remember doing that in DOTA but you got bonus gold to start and you also racked up experience faster. Not the same in demigod.

In my opinion you can win a 2vs1, when youre much better.

These games happen when the host of the game kicks a player from the original 4 that was matched. Its stupid allowing the kick function in pantheon and skirmish games, as there is no replacement logic in place, so the 3 remaining players are always doomed to play an uneven game if any kicking takes place at all.

Another case where this might happen is if one of the 4 inital players think the game is taking too long to start (someone not connected yet) and presses the cancel button, he will drop out and the remaining 3 are doomed again.

The only solution to this right now is to be very observant and quick, if you notice one of the 4 players suddenly dissapear from the connection window, quickly hit the cancel button and drop out! Sometimes the game starts so fast after one person leaving so this is impossible though.

Thats just how the flawed logic works right now. Very beta-ish, unfortunately.

Just insane how we played 64 vs 64 player games few years ago, and now we have to pray very hard to get a 2v2 pantheon going. Devolution.

Just tried my first game of the day pantheon. Connection Info shows 4 players fast connecting to each other with no problem. Then demigod starts and you see the map title screen for like 5 minutes untill you hear 'player left the game". Then it seems to be me plus AI versus 2 highskill regulus. ---> F10 end game (sue me). Worst multiplayer experience in a long time.

Time for custom games now. At least there you can have good games lately with good pings.

There's no kick function in pantheon and skirmish games... you could start a custom game where you quickly kick someone after everybody has pushed 'ready' but I doubt that's something a lot of people do...

1vs2 is an excellent "gameplay improvement" for players. LOL. Really though, I hate doing 1vs2 because it takes extra effort to win the game and that chance is not even guaranteed. I'm certain that SD is looking into this issue as it is very unfair to play 1vs2 (leaving = loss :(). I have managed to win  1vs2 several times though. :) It is unexpected fun and challenge.

Threre's an eject user function, at the top left of the connection info screen.

Whether this works or not... i have no idea.

Obviously not in Pantheon/Skirmish. The fact that people are even suggesting that is ridiculous...
