Why don't I see the same Internet Custom games as my friend?

We're trying to connect for the first time. Friend2 and I see the same number of servers. Friend 1 sees a completely different list. Can someone explain? I just want to play a game with them.

Same issue here.  Used to see more servers.  Just tried to another friend and he and I can no longer see each other.  Latest patch glitch? Server down for you guys?  What's the deal?  He sees 9 servers hosting games, I see 4 right now, but not each others.

There was a new patch - please update and this should be fixed.  If you do not see an update either "Check for updates" or verify installation.

Thanks, yeah we found out a patch was released between the time we started and he did.
