Not getting assist on Lord Erebus kills

Do you recall if Erebus was targeted by you at his time of death?

Yeah i was frantically clicking on him when he repsawned. Happened twice in quick succession in the same game.

If more than 15 seconds passed between pounce hitting Erebus and Oak actually killing him you won't get an assist. Are you sure Oak killed him before 15 seconds passed?

Are you sure that your pounce connected? i.e., wasn't evaded?

I don't even know if pounce can be evaded. Just throwing out an idea.

I damaged him with pounce and maybe 1 auto attack after, he disappeared, about 5 seconds after he reappeared he died.

maybe he misted before you hit with punce ...

Wait. This thread is strangely familiar. Did you post this same thing somewhere else? I remember watching a reply of somebody who did not get an assist who had an ally oak.

Somebody from GPG even responded to it and said they would look into it.

I actually feel like this problem might not be limited to Lord Erebus.  There have definitely been several times where I thought that someone should get an assist, but they didn't.  I can think of one recently where I threw mines under the feet of a demigod who died a couple seconds later, and the mines appeared to hit, but I didn't get an assist.

But it's tough to say whether these things are just me thinking that a player got a hit in, when it really didn't hit, or whether it's a real issue.

Mines don't count as Reg damage. That is known.
