How much extra time does ObjectDock take in the boot process for you?

I am running Vista on a year old Dell Duo 2.2.

I have the regular dock with one extra tabbed dock.

Normally I boot in slightly less than a minute.  It seems that with ObjectDock Plus it seems to add another 20-30 seconds.  This after several boots.

I realize this will depend on the machine and the number of docklets going.  I have a clock, calendar, and weather docklet.  I suppose it takes time to get them going.

Probably within reason.

A few thoughts on speeding it up:

The tabbed docks take a little longer to load than the standard docks, so sticking just to standard docks will speed it up a little if you like.  Not a huge deal though.  (Don't forget to save your theme before you start deleting docks if you want to play with it.)

Getting rid of the weather docklet might speed it up some, not sure, would cut out the communication to the weather site at boot.

Loading it up manually after boot cuts down on the boot competition if clicking to load it afterwards doesn't bother you.

Normally I boot in slightly less than a minute.

Only in my dreams, only in my dreams - I'm not even going to tell you how long it takes this crate to fire up XD

It slows me down a little bit, i normally boot in 20 secs. but with the dock i boot in 30. Not a big differance.. And i'm running vista, fast huh?

(RAM helps alot..)

Maybe buy some ram for your pc?
