Twilight of the Arnor not downloading the same on new PC

I bought a new PC, installed GCII Gold, then installed Twilight from SDC. I had moved a game save over and it hadn't worked. I thought it was a setting problem, finished th game on the old PC and started a new game on the new PC. I was missing the upgrade to espionage, race-wide agents. I checked the manual and found that it didn't mention them. I checked the manual for other features and then against the manual on my old machine. much was missing.

The file dates of the manual and the game we older on my new machine. I thought that moving the game save files had caused a problem. I uninstalled Twilight and reinstalled. No change. I uninstalled and found that not all files and folders were removed. I removed them and reinstalled. It still has old file dates and missing features.

Old PC

New PC

  • TwilightManual.pdf 4/29/2008

SDC is the same version on both. Options are the same on both as far as I have thought to check.

Try using Impulse instead of SDC. SDC is obsolete, and from my experience, its isn't capable of showing you all the games that Impulse would show, or with the latest versions.

Looking at things right now, SDC shows me that TA ver 1.96.027 is installed, but Impulse shows TA ver 2.02 . Stuff like the upgrade to espionage came no less than version 2.00 .

SDC has been discontinued. New updates are only available through Impulse as of several months ago (at least).
