 When 'mulch Shambler' used one of your shamblers will charge in at their current target and explode. 

 

Edit:

If they dont have a target as in running with you they stop moving when activated for 3-4 sec and blow up on the spot they stoped at.

2)

Alternative thought that may be easier. You press the mulch ability , select a target and one of the shamblers charges it and explodes.

You're better off sticking with shield for survivability and then focusing on the "open" skills, ground spikes are priority #1 and then either spikewave or uproot depending on the makeup of the game.  Ie: against a rook on crucibel you'd be better off with spikewave since it will hit a few of his towers + him + creeps.  In a small or wide open area game uproot is often better.  

Ignoring the closed skills other than shield is imo the best way to go.  I play QoT almost exclusively and if you check ranking you'll see I win most of my games.  If you don't agree, at least do me a favor and do not get shamblers against oak, it just is giving him free hitpoints.

It depends how you want/need to play QoT that game. QoT can really tank a shit load with mulch+bramble. It depends on how you want to play QoT.

I play QoT almost exclusively and if you check ranking you'll see I win most of my games.

Rankins mean nothing atm. They are truely messed up. Also it depends who you play against. With PUGs you might be winning 80% of your games but still be rubbish, but if you play vs only good players you might be very very good but only be winning 50% of your games. I checked your rank. Your 10,842 - not that ranks mean anything atm.

Mulch has crazy range. You can leave your shamblers at your base or behind towers and just use them for the hp regen.

i played a full defense  qot i mean shambles munch and shield none of the offensive skills  and we owned them

we were lvl 9 and they were lvl 7  we won before getting to lvl 10  it made me laugh

I just got this game a couple of days ago and am playing some 1v1 skirmishes vs hard AI on Crucible.

I found Regulus (mine build) easy to win with, am OK with Rook, but am having real issues with my first general demigod - QoT esp. vs Oak.

The problem is that I seem to dominate early to mid game OK and even get as far as taking down his gold mine,  but once Oak gets to 19 or 20 the only way I can stop him killing me is burning thru lots of heal potions and I just can't damage him enough anymore. I have tried open and closed builds and hit the same issue.

Is the solution just to take bramble shield in closed and then switch to open to use the aoe spikes and either spike wave (but isn't that more mana) or just put the rest of the levels into the general improve demigod line at the bottom of the upgrade screen? But that will leave me with little to take down towers in the meantime..

 

My general view is that the bramble shield is great early game but at endgame just doesn't hack it anymore.

 

What are the key items for QoT? 

 

And where the hell is the pause button when playing the AI? :)

items  hmm hp is needed and mana items  hmm  speed iws good too u might want  dmg items too  ohh and dont forget  pots and teleports and locks

Actually Dalzk I'm rank 21, not 10000.  I play custom games.  I notice your in the top 100 too, keep working on it you'll break top 25 in no time.  I can arrange a 2v2 with a friend if you like and help teach you some skills.

 

Key items for QoT?  Get scale mail helmet and gloves of brutality off the bat.  Next get vlemish helmet, boots of speed, and wand of speed.  The exact order depends on whether your chasing down heros to kill or just staying on lane and trying not to die.  After that get heart of life, then save gold for either unbreakable boots if its a close game or father ring if not.

custom rankings mean nothing for now until there are official team/guild ladders.  If someone really wants they can win 100% of thier custom games, then you have pre-mades vs randoms ect.      

even pantheon can be manipulated fairly easily.
