I read at launch that Stardock had some issues w/ this game and the netcode etc.. I really want to buy this game, has stardock addressed the issues they had at launch? Is the game worth buying now?
Most people no longer seem to have any major problems, myself included. Matchmaking can still be a little slow, but overall I don't have any complaints. Additionally, Stardock is releasing another patch soon.
I recomend trying the game if you really want it. If worst comes to worst you can always get a refund.
Also-- A demo is coming out before too long. You could always hold out until then.
Ask someone who shares the same ISP as you if they are having connection problems.
For me, online connection is still 0%.
Hope 1.01 fix it.
i would say it works flawlessly for 30% of people. 65% of people have to do some tweaking (turn off firewall, add comp to reuter dmz, foward ports, ect) and doesnt work at all for 5% of people. Of course many in that second group arent tech savvyy enough to make the game work for them.
