I had an idea that i'd like to run by everyone. Anyone remember Command and Conquer Generals? What I loved about that game is when you would have surviving units gain experience. These units killed enemies they received little chevrons over their heads and they were able to fight better. What do u think of level three Shamblers and other minions?
thats actually a really good idea... maybe this way they could nerf the minions a smidge, but make them more powerful when they lvl up a bit. very nice veru nice. 
They also need to cut down the number of "upgrades" that minions get; what I mean specifically is that people just don't want to put ALL those points on minion upgrades JUST for the minions, when there are so many other good powers they need/want.
So lets say for an example: it's possible to put 6 points total in minion upgrades; instead, they just make it 5, or even 4, but make each upgrade give more bonuses. That way, people are WAY more likely to put points in the bottom row of their skills.
