This is a first time for me. I get a message telling me NAt has failed every time I attempt to even connecto to anyone online (it fails at once). Is this problem serverside, or do I need to fix something I have no memory of even tampering with in the first place?
I'm getting the same error. Every single game today. Wondering if their some sort of maintainance going on?
I also am currently getting this error. The game doesnt seem to honor the server proxy only command line option, as I still get this error, and/or when it DOES connect, all my connections to people are not proxied.
Same problem here when I am on the cablemodem,, but it seems to work fine (so far) on Verizon WiMax.
Has anyone posted, asked, if there is a certain set of ports that can be allowed through / forwarded for perimeter firewalls like ISA Server, M0n0wall, CiscoPIX, etc?
I see that it uses a port in the 6500 range for hosting, but is that the same for peer-2-peer connections? What about the proxy connection? That did not seem to work through the perimeter firewall either. Probably because the traffic is initating from the SD servers and then coming back from each host that joins the game?
I've never had a problem seeing the games, but I am unable to join them - behind the FW.

Yep same problem for me. I posted in tech support as well.
Basically if i have /serverproxyonly then I can't connect to any games. I can see them in the lobby but get a failed NAT message when trying to join. If I turn off proxy, then I CAN connect to w/e games I can connect to without proxies. But if even 1 person in that game redlines on me, I seem to end up getting booted in anyway. Long story short, my current settings require proxies for me to play. With proxies not working I can't play.
Looks like the proxies are down or disabled, nice of SD to keep us in the know. 
Yeah all day its been messed up. Me and friends try and play and can't so ... im screwed (And that sad part is i can connect to anyone) ... but im screwed because id rather play w/ friends. I also find it kind of messed up they don't even come out and say something. Usually stardock takes the blame but today ... no sign of a stardock employee anywhere?
I just checked .. it is a workday during the normal work week? Not sure...
same problem here ! last week I played like 3 games a day , and today i cant because NAT has failed!! damit !
