Is this considered cheating or what?

So I was browsing the Pantheon rankings and I saw this guy razattack1337 is currently ranked #1 on Overall Rankings and Custom Games Rankings. I wanted to see how good he is so I checked his stats and this is what I found out:

I noticed his winning streak is 101 and I thought "Dang, this guy must be really good...". So I continued to check the Games List page. Page 1 contains a lot of Pantheon matches. And then page 2:

I saw there are 14 private custome games. These games ended in 1-3 min max. I continued to proceed to page 3

More private custome games which ended 1-3 min. When I clicked on one of these games, only razattack1337's name appeared. Page 4,5 and 6 are the same:

There are more on page 8...All of these private custom games have game length from 1-3 min. All of them were played on Prison map. All of them resulted "won" for razattack1337. He used the Rook in almost all of them. I counted 97 of them were played on April 16,2009, 18 on April 15,2009. So it is clear to me that this was how razattack1337 got his winning streak. He has played 129 custom games total, he got 115 wins from those private custom games. So that means he only played 14 custom games if we don't count those strange 115 wins. Is it possible that he used 2 computers, logged in the 1st computer with his main account which is razattack1337, and then logged in a differnt account on 2nd computer, then hosted a private game, razattack1337 as Force of Light, second account as Force of Darkness, then left just before Force of Light's about to win....? If this is possible, then isn't this or any other methods that result a win by avoiding to compete with others considered cheating....?

He just went Custom game, put settings on Game Speed: Fast

Gave himself 5 nightmare a.i vs one easy a.i and the game ended in three minutes.

Rankings atm mean nothing. They are so bugged and messed up its just not even worth looking at them.

Quite frankly, you and he may be the only two people on earth who care about the Demigod Ranking system. But yes, I think something should be done about custom game matchups. Perhaps you should only gain ranking from beating the same person so many times in a day? I dunno.

tbh, custom games shouldnt be added to a ranking.

pantheon is what gets you ranked, not random custom modes with variable settings(which you are in control of).

Lol, that someone actually bothers to spend time on starting three minute games so often.. 

But I thought I read somewhere that Stardock was getting rid of this nonesense, probably coming soon.

I did this for a while to just earn enough favor to buy all the items. it was also good to do when favor kept resetting

Thats what you need to do.

I may be wrong however i think currentley you dont gain rank for custom games ?? or favor ??

It is exploiting the stats however the system should be robust enough to stop this.

If razattack was just farming for favor, then i approve. but if he was doing this to bolster his ranking, what a pathetic waste of life.

On a side note, I have actually made a mod that allows me to win by clicking a button (only works against CPUs) just to mess around, and it works ^_^ It wouldn't be hard to mod it to continuously run games, win, run more games, etc. Perhaps they will make custom games not affect your rankings?

I know that in most games if you point push with a friend or exploit any other methods that artificially boost your rank in a competitive ladder that it results in at the very least a wipe, and at worst a serial key ban. 

Stardock has already said though that there should be some sort of stat wipe down the road, so this guys time will already be lost once that happens.  Good detective work though!:thumbsup:

Rankings for custom games can count, but they need to be seperate, and for them to count they must use default rules and no AI. Solved.
