Having issues updating from 1.04 to 1.16

Hey all,

I just bought Sins last weekend, and finnaly got around to installing it and updating it tonight.

After creating a stardock account I downloaded the Impulse software, and proceeded to download the 225MB worth of updates.

However, after completed the download, it simply says "verifying" and the sundial spins round and round, and it's been this way for ~15 minutes now.

 

My system specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad 6600

Nvidia 8800GTS 640MB GPU with drivers freshly installed tonight.

Gigabyte P35-D3SL (?) Mobo.

2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM

Windows XP Pro SP3 32bit OS

Yeah, that seems to be a common problem with Impulse. Did you search the forums for this problem? For some people simple restarting Impulse and updating again solved the issue.
