New update, overdone the downgrade
Why was the damage AND Armor reduction lowered while also raising the mana cost of bite down?

I guess to each their own then. I guess I'm not ballsy enough to go that far. I'd rather just cap/lock/move. The risk of losing ~30 seconds of valuable time, and possibly lining enemy wallets, just doesn't seem worth it to me.
When you see what youre capable of you'll be more ballsy
Honestly it's rare that I die chasing somone through a tower or two. I ussualy die to flat out great teamwork by opposing teams than anything else. That's the hard stuff to predict.
Oh, it's not that I don't chase people. It's just that I don't do it often. Usually ends up with someone coming out of the fog to rape my ass though.
It's not the one tower you worry about, they're easy to chase someone through. Same with the second. It's what lies past them. I've done some near suicidal(and purely suicidal) runs through towers to get things before, I'm no stranger to crazy gambits.
Thats the point im trying to make though, its TOO easy for him to get away with these kinds of tactics. Even if somone does throw a screw in your perfectly laid plan, you can effectievly escape using blink if they dont stun fast enough, or batswarm till you call in your teamates to the rescue.
Bat swarm has failed me at times. Even though it does have a fast cast time, I've noticed that Erebus is vulnerable for a moment before he is actually teleported to his destination.
Sorry, I meant mist? Whatever the turning into bats is that drains mana and does damage. But blink is almost near instant. Most stuns have a longer cast time than his actual batswarm blink.
All I'm saying, is that Erebus is still effective. I actually agree with what you said higher up. Erebus players who were already good are gonna be just fine, and Erebus players who were bad are gonna be worse. It was not that bad of a nerf. It was only ONE skill. They didn't nerf the character itself Erebus is still extremely effective and so I think they did a good job. Bite should NOT have been as powerful as it was and GPG addressed that.
We kinda got a litte off topic here, so to rephrase this, could there of easly been a better way to balance bite?
stick with new damage, go back to old armor reduction and keep new mana cost
go back to old damage and armor reduction and mana cost but raise cooldown to maybe 8
old damage new armor reduction new mana cost
new damage old armor reduction old mana cost
these seem way more logicol.
Regardless of whether or not Bite needed to be rebalanced, yes, there could have been a better way.
I concur.
I use Erebus a lot..
I still think he is OP ![]()
TB = the heavy damager
EB = was never intended to do insane damage.
I found the nerf ok it did not effect my gameplay much
is 900 insane damage?
thats if EB is Erub bug...
