Starbaces & Empire tree

Whenever I build a starbace, anywhere, that planet is stuck in my empire tree...

 

It is really annoying on maps where each player has their own 5-10 planet long asteroid belt and I put starbaces on them for trade routs, they get stuck on my empire tree.. how do I disable this?

unpin the starbase.

Select them on the empire tree and then use the pin icon to unpin them.

I do all the time. It annoys me too.

Ah, thanks! I kept trying to unpin the planet!

yeah, i would really like the ability to auto-pin/unpin starbases just like fleets or cap ships etc
