Impulse will not connect

Impulse will not log on...but I can use my userId fine on these forums.  Impule says "check your internet connection" or "server error" and will not connect.  I have no firewalls activated.  Any solutions?

Do you have any antispyware apps installed such as Ad-Aware of SpyBot? These can typically cause this error. If you do have such programs, try temporarily disabling them and then try Impulse again. If you do not have anything like this, please send us your startup/dxdiag information as detailed here: https://forums.stardock.com/341573

I'm on broadband.  I thought that was a given in this day and age?  I'm also not using any Ad-Aware or SpyBot Programs.
