first game, I'm paired up with a UB that's literally worse than AI, and just base dived every chance he got to feed.

 

Second game, I'm paired up with...no one. 2v1 in a domination match. Despite me outleveling my two opponents significantly, out-upgrading my citadel and straight out damaging/outfarming, I can't hold all of the flags at once while two of them just grab the ones I go for.

 

Fuck pantheon.

 

Not even going to touch it until they implement a team pantheon.

I have two suggestions for  you:

 

1)  Seek help.  It's really not worth getting that upset.

2)  Don't play pantheon.

 

I feel your pain, Bill...but to be a sadist AND tell us all about it is really a bit much.

Have you been following this game at all? The matchmaking got borked on release, they've been working around the clock to fix it. Play Custom with a friend if Pantheon is just gonna make your nerdrage all over the forums.

Except to his bad words he uses :grin:

Team pantheon is what I wait too before going seriously at it.

When I was in beta they said its a planned feature so it will come sooner or later.

Team Pantheon will be a nice addition.  However, I love the current Pantheon and Skirmish mode.  I haven't gotten involved in clans/guilds/organized teamplay since I quit MMO's.   Having game modes where I know I can't be stacked against, that everyone enjoys the same luck of the draw on map, mode, player skill and numbers; it's a good thing for me.  Custom games should fill the void until they get Team Pantheon in.

Huh? You'd think stardock would have read their own gamers bill of rights where it says something to teh effect that games shouldn't be released until they are ready.  Looks like they are followign the old adage "Do as I say not as I do".

The bots are really only supposed to be there for newbies.  I find I'm getting bots very rarely now, excepting people getting dropped right when the game loads.  They have stated this is being fixed, and I've noticed a big improvement since.

wow the fanbase here is pathetic.  And I'm not talking about the TC.

If someone is posting here and has issues or complaints why not address teh issue.  Playing an online game against bots is stupid and broken.  instead of attacking him why not explain to him that the game is a bit borked up right now and they are working on it.

Does it hurt you somehow to admit that DG was shipped too early or with some pretty bad code in parts?  If you didnt write the code...why be so defensive about it?

agree with op , getting an ai instead of player in most cases means you lose , if your not facing total nublets , one loss due to 2v1 matchup and one fair loss so far in pantheon , i promise you i would rather have that one loss.

no nerdrage from me though i appreciate ti , if it could update my player statistics so i didnt have to face bots every other game i would be happy aswell

I agree with the OP that the "tournament system" pairing you with random strangers and all the horrors they bring with them, is the epitome of dumb.   There needs to be an option to make your own team before entering Pantheon.

the OP is right in being frustrated by getting matched up in a 2v1 in a tournament mode.

getting feeder partners is just a common happening in random team games for a lot of people so it's unavoidable for the most part

Can we have something that avoids teaming you with the same person twice in a row?

It only happened once, but two games in a row of a Rook dying 10+ times, trailing by 6 levels, and dealing less damage than sedna is just not fun.

Heh, placebo effect I guess.  Played 10 games last night in Patheon in over 50% of them, someone disconnected before the map had even begun.  Frustrating to say the least.  Custom games worked out much better.
