Cheats removed?

Were the cheats removed from the latest version? I've played the game all the way through a few times and think the cheats could have added some replay value but I understand that they were removed from the latest version 1.0.0.105.

Is there a way to reactivate them? I don't get why you would remove fun stuff from a game.

Stardock forced GPG to remove them. And yes, if you know how, you can re-activate them in the game (PM me if you wish). However, you can't play online with such a version.
