I find my DG is very slow on hard tournament. As UB, every DG can catch me. It also seems other DGs auto restore HPs just as they are about to die, every time. They cant have that much gold to upgrade citadel, get amazing armor and buy tons of potions and scrolls. I spent an hour and a half destroying the enemies four fortresses, and Regulus on the losing side had nearly as many favor points as I did. The next level was first team to 10 kills. I got to four when my AI teammates finished their apparent job as fodder. I dont mind if the opponent gets better (ie, uses better judgement, utilizes combo moves) or even has increased HPs for their buildings, but it pisses me off when my level 12 UB gets killed by one wave of enemy creep (not even upgraded to angels). I turned it off last night out of frustration.

I swear there's got to be something wrong with Tournaments, though. I've heard a rumour that your AI is on Normal while they're on Hard? Any truth in that? I played through a Normal tournament without trouble, then tried a Hard one and I had to stop because I was getting pummelled so badly. My AI buddies were nowhere to be seen and definitely weren't helping to stave off the onslaught. However, when I play a Skirmish with Hard AI they seem better... maybe it's just the map? I dunno, but it definitely didn't seem like winning was even plausable.

Is it so hard just to help people out to learn how to play?

Is there any word on if this (the SP difficulty levels) will be addressed at all as the MP issues die down?

The tournament is way to easy on Normal, and a huge, frustrating pain in the ass on Hard.
