Generals playing like Assassins.

Ok this is seriously bothering me. Pretty much every General in this game can be played without any minions. The worst of the lot is Erebus, who can often solo well, every Assasin. 

At the same time, when I've played Generals, I've found there minions to be quite lackluster. Even with items boosting them, they don't come close to a DPS Unclean Beast or Regulus build. They ignore my minions running right into the mob and kill me no problem, losing maybe 50% health if I'm lucky. 

I remember one 2v2 I played a while ago. I was using Unclean Beast, not sure what my ally had, think it was Torchbearer. Enemies were Erebus and QoT. QoT was weak the whole game, since she went a minion build, and either of us could take her 1v1 (though not kill, since she'd run and Erebus would come kill us). Erebus went the standard Bite + Bats and could take us on 1v2 most of the game. 


So, is it just me, or are minions too weak while Generals are too strong?

This all sounds like a bunch of QQ. I play TB, QoT, and Erebus. Yes Erebus is no longer a free kill now. Upgrade your strat. I play an have ran into Oak builds who use minions who I can't kill as Erebus, the guys name was ChaosOrk and he's a damn beast. Perhaps he can teach you how to play.

They need to be playable as assassins.  IT's just that, yes, there isn't really incentive to buy all 3 idols and raising your minions skills.
