When Demigod launches in India ?

Simple query really..   :

When will Demigod be launched in India ?

1.  You didnt launch Sins of Solar Empire in any store in India

2. You disnt launch Sins of Solar Empire : Entrenchment in India

3. And now you dont seem to be launching the game Demigod in India...

What have we done to deserve this kind of punishment where you cheat us fans of such GREAT GAMES ?????

>:(  :annoyed: X( <X3 #:( :hugme: >_> #:( >:(

AND THEN THE GAMING COMPANIES COMPLAIN OF PIRACY. Either most of the good quality games dont get launched in India or they are priced very high by Indian/Asian cost of living standards..

Anybody has anyway of getting this to the attention of the right people in the management of STARDOCK ?  Please feel free to copy and bring this complain to their notice.

It's less effective if you want to be taken seriously

I am fairly sure that you should be able to get it via Impulse, although the price compared to cost of living there will likely be high still. You bring up a valid point though, since the distribution via Impulse only costs server bandwidth and $40 is quite a bit more in some places than others.

There's nothing they can do about your economy... if you can't afford it... well, that's that.

If people in a given country want to see a game released in stores in their country, maybe they should be looking up their local games distributors (not the people at the stores, but rather the people in their country that sell games to those stores) and lobby with them to start carrying the products they want.  Games distribution in foreign countries is not an easy task, there are lots of localization, import, and legal issues that need to be dealt with.

The price is dictated by the amount necessary to create a product.  If you live in some countries, you'll probably find it hard to afford commodities imported from a country with a higher standard of living.  There is nothing Stardock can do about that, it's just how commerce works.  If you want to play, you should pay enough to put bread on the table of the creators of the game.
