Can't create account for online gaming

Unable to enter an "@"

from Sins Forums

Huhu,

 

as some of you may read in my large thread in the other forums area, I am unable to play in internet because I can't enter the "@"-letter for the mail address.

So, any ideas how the problem can be solved?

I also have 2 ideas as "work around":

1.) Is there any webpage with which I can create an internet account for SoaSE? (link pls)

2.) If not, may be (if you are willing to) some of the devs could create the account for me? Of course I can provide you with the necessary information (serial, mail, login...)

 

Any help will be much appreciated !

I'm confused, if you can type the @ symbol here on the forum why can't you enter the same symbol for an online account????

maybe it's because your keyboard is broken (replace it) and you posted this from another computer???

Nope, exactly this is the strange thing. I can enter it here and every where else (@@@@@@@@@) but not in SoaSE.

Are you using a non-QWERTY keyboard or non-English windows settings? @ entry seems to work fine for me.

I am using a german qwertz keyboard. And iirc I also deinstalled the windows english settings since it sucks every time I accidentally change it (for instance, via hotkey or some games/programs are changing it some times...)

I thought about if this could be the source of the problem, but no solution came up to my mind except installing the english windows keyboard settings again...

Solved the problem via c & p ;)

Some times the simpliest solutions are quite hard to find >.<
