38 games against skilled players and 1 loss to a newbie is better than 70 wins against skilled players.  That being said, the rating and experience system are largly unknown (and bug ridden) at the moment so I wouldn't trust anything much on that page.

Experience is the ELO rating right now. It's still being tweaked on how to handle victories against AI players since the AI players aren't yet rated.

Why not just have the AI have a rank?  Let the rating system push them down nice and low to where they should be (probably in the low 100s).

I don't think victory against AI's should have any affect on your ELO rating.  They are like training wheels at best.

Does that mean AI mods (if modding ever gets allowed) will have their own ELO rating? :)
