In the entity files change "usesFighterAttack" from FALSE to TRUE.

sweet thanks

"usesFighterAttack" is only in the entrenchment version of the files. If you don't have entrenchment, you are out of luck for making the rest of your ships behave like strike craft. At least to my knowledge anyway.

well, i would suggest that you increase all the values to the speeds of the strike craft and see if that helps

That will make the ships move quicker yes, but that doesn't give you the strafing runs that the strike craft have.

I don't know what you are referencing by turn angles.

Any of the entity files that pertain to a ship's data (i.e. CAPITALSHIP_PSICOLONY.entity, FrigatePhaseLight.entity, etc.). You may need to use the conversion tools to convert the files from binary to text format to see it though. Alternatively, download the mod tools. All the files are in text format in the mod tools.

BEGIN SPECULATION

I don't have entrenchment yet. So, what I'm saying in regards to this is speculation. I recall reading in the forum something about a manifest file that is in the root folder for the mod. It may be that you need to edit this file in some way. Someone who has experience modding entrenchment would need to give you more detail on this.

END SPECULATION

Aside from that, make sure the mod is saved in the correct spot and enabled in from the main menu options.

That would do it. One more thing to add to my checklist of general mod debugging.
