It does exist! It's just hidden by default, so you'll have to go into your Explorer folder options and make sure it's set to display hidden files & folders.

Actually, some time during the Entrenchment beta, my screenshots folder disappeared, it was supposed to be (in Vista) in

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Screenshots, right? (Sorry for threadjacking)

Yes, and mine is still in there. It probably disappeared after the reinstall, but should be added when you actually take one :P

I've been hitting the printscreen key pretty frequently (and have confirmed that it is bound for screen capturing), but still nothing has appeared. Even the text "Saved screenshot at.." doesn't appear. This is with Entrenchment, haven't tried in vanilla.

If it's not even doing that, try rebinding the screenshot function to a different key in the options. Some people have found that Vista does not always work with prntscrn.

Pretty sure it's similar, but I don't have a Vista machine handy to double check, sorry.

Here's a How-To for Vista with screenshots: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-vista/ Only the AppData folder is hidden on that path.

Thanks Kryo, that did it  I tried to rebind it back to printscreen, but the game didn't detect that i pressed it, so that's most likely the problem.
