Bootskin help, bookscreen not staying on at boot up?

Hello guys,

It is my first time i have made a bootskin it seemed to go o.k, and i successfully installed it to the bootscreen program and the preview worked just fine. The thing is when i rebooted winXP my bootscreen pops on the screen for like a second then it go's black then in a few seconds later gos to the logon screen like normal, The question is why is the bootscreen not staying on for the full boot up. Thanks for reading and for any replys.:(

It may be a problem with the bootskin you have created. Have you checked both images are from the same colour palette? That is the usual cause of bootskin problems.

If you have a link to the bootskin either me or someone else could take a look at it for you.

Right, both images are not from the palette i just used a seperate one from another file, i will try and do my own. Im just not very good at following the instuction on how to do the moving cursor (the one that gos back and forth) n00b. i will try again and re-post. to this message. thxs again.
