Fences - icon grid snapping annoyance

icons gliding about

Just started using Fences, which I like.  It really helps me organise all my work-in-progress files on the Desktop.

But I would really like the option to not have the icons gliding about on the actual Desktop.  I would rather have them snap into place in the usual way, and with the usual distances.  I am not sure why, but this gliding about business just annoys me.  I can understand the need for it within the fences themselves though.

Also, I cannot place the Recycle Bin in the bottom right corner of my laptop's XGA screen.  It glides to a place further to the to the left.

I really hope that an option to turn the gliding thing on the Desktop space off, as otherwise I think Fences is great.

How do you stop Fences from running?  I can't use it until it stops messing with the Desktop icons.

I cannot find an entry in the Startup folder or in the registry (using a startup manager).

Open the config.  Go to Tools.  Then Advanced tools.

You can have the Recycle Bin at the bottom right corner of your screen - just create a small fence there large enough to contain one icon ...
